the Hardiplank is in place and the curvature of the porch is well defined. Once the front and back porches are completed, painting can begin. We chose a light gray color (Useful Gray) and a darker gray with slight blue undertones (Attitude Gray) for the roof trim and garage door. These colors seem to compliment the silver color of our standing seam Galvalume roof. It was a little hard to imagine; we used a 6 by 14 inch scrap of roof that I borrowed from the construction site down the street as my model. The electrical work and the plumbing is in. We'll have an electrical inspection this week. Apparently we'll have at least two electrical inspections, standard procedure is to fail the first time. I think of it in terms of software, this would be called iterative development.
